Tens of thousands of U.S. veterans of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are now struggling with life-altering, service-connected injuries and psychological problems. And their adjustment to "coming home" is made even more difficult when they must wait six months or more to receive merited disability income from the U.S. government. Even then, large numbers live below the poverty level. Through Rebuild Hope Americans help these veterans, caregivers and families overcome short term financial problems and build healthier and more stable family and civilian lives. A program like this would be very helpfull. We and many others are going threw this every day with families which make it even harder.

Thanks Dana, and Rebuild Hope, for helping our family as we have struggled to get Don's disability compensation. You prevented our utilities from being disconnected twice, and provided gift cards for food, gas, and clothing when we needed them the most. Thanks for being there for us, and for all you are doing to help our disabled veterans!

Rebuild Hope really encouraged me to not give up when they assisted me and my family. I was totally ecstatic when they assisted me with what they did and I did not think that they would be able to assist me but they proved me wrong. I was really shocked and almost in tears when I got a Christmas card from them this past Christmas. This past Christmas was the best Christams that my family has had in a long time and I really appreciate Rebuild Hope for what they have done for my family.
