The Richfield community is truly dedicated to this cause ! They honor and support ALL military families in the community regardless of whether or not they are a part of the local National Guard 222. My husband was gone during the same time period with a different unit and we were completely overwhelmed with the outpouring of gratitude and love that we were shown. I'm afraid the movie clip doesn't even begin to show what the community really does - it's amazing! Thank You!

I would have to agree with the comment made by Kassie and that it reaches farther than the immediate area. My husband was deployed at the same time as the 222 with a different unit. Although we have never lived in Richfield itself, he grew up in the surrounding area and was part of the 222. The community went out of their way to support us as well. He received the local news paper at no charge and anytime they did a special about the men serving in the paper we were included as well. There were little chairs made by a wonderful man for each child of a parent who was serving and although we couldn't make when they were given out, they sent it to us in the mail. I will never forget the look on my little ones face when we opened that chair. She loved it and sat on it all over the house, because it was her's and daddies chair. They are amazing! Thank you!

I am proud of our soldiers and their families. They represent their country and Utah very well. Sharing the message and hoping to see that we move up!

I have lived in Richfield for over a decade and ever since the war started I could see the support and the love that the people of Richfield and other nearby towns have for their soldiers and for their country. The 222 National Guard unit is blessed to have civilians that sacrifice just as much as the soldiers do for the benfit of others. The families are awesome, they stick together, and they reach out to everyone around them and no one can say that they don't give their all. So if anyone is unsure about voting, let me tell you that these people have done more then earned it. They deserve it.

The intense level of love and support that the community of Richfield fosters towards the military, especially it's beloved 222FA, is second to none. It does not take long for a person to realize how important this community is to the Utah Army National Guard and vice versa. Congratulations on the nomination and success, now pass this on and do your part to make sure all your friends and family see this opportunity.

I have lived in this valley for most of my life and consider it home. I have experienced many kind acts and love throughout. However, for the last 7 years we have had the opportunity to experience something so huge that words cannot describe our gratitude. With two of our sons in the 222 and serving in Iraq for 3 tours, it has been a difficult time for us. Our family, friends, FRG, community members, Chamber of Commerce and local businesses (Wish I could name them all), have made these times bearable. The hard work and dedication to the families and soldiers is beyond amazing! I truly love this community and the support you have dedicated and shown to my and all the families of the 222!
